In Puerta de Hierro, Province of Buenos Aires, Father “Tano” works day by day to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable and marginalized sectors. Fighting addiction to cocaine base paste (paco) takes time and commitment.
One of the devices created by Father Tano is the “Grandparents´ home“. There, volunteers work daily to care for the elderly.
After seeing these photos, Jazmín Ullevicius, and the company where she works, felt the concrete need to collaborate with the “Home”, delivering medicines and other items that were necessary to provide better care for grandparents.
As the photojournalist and friend Juan José Thomes says, “photograph sensibly and with respect“.
